With the weather "supposed" to be cooler, we loaded up the pups and headed out on Route 66 towards Tulsa, Ok. Along the route is Galena, KS, the home of the real "Mator" in the Cars movie. For the title I used the font Chinacat with a drop shadow and beveled it in a inner bevel of 5 px. <br /><br /><b>Variation #1</b> - For the stitching I use ribbon at the top and added a second row to give some color dimention and also in the second row. Little did I know that at a ripe young age of 41 I was diagnosed with Stage One / Grade Two breast cancer. Twelve days later I had a left mastectomy and started six rounds of chemo on April 24th. I under went reconsturction on September24th. I lost all of my hair as you can tell in the photo. When it came back in it was jet black and curly! Totally NOT what it was before! Wasn't sure what that was, but once I saw it, checked it out, thought it wasn't half bad. Dad put my bed in it so it was nice and comfy and some what familiar. I went right in and went right to sleep. I didn't make a sound all night until morning, when I saw Mom turn on the light. I stretched really well and yawned then told her "good morning". We went straight out to do business, I moved a little slow at first for I was wondering if the neighbor kids would be out. <em>Shhhew</em>! Finally able to do business in peace!</div><div align="justify">Mom got dressed while Dad and me spent some time in bed. I "<em><strong>LOVE</strong></em>" to get my belly rubbed. Finally Mom was ready and was out the door. I was not happy so I had to inform her of that. She told me she would be home early tonight, but Dad was staying home with me today. </div><div align="justify">I spent the day wondering around with Dad in the house. I did find me a really safe and comfy spot right under his feet, under his desk. I did go wondering around some by myself. I ran into that "cat" again. She really hates me! I am just trying to get to know her. Dad said I need to settle down my approach that I am scaring her and to give her time. What ever!</div><div align="justify">Yeah! Mom is home. I had to give her <strong>LOTS</strong> of kisses! Once she got settled down, we climbed into OUR recliner. She rubbed my belly and I gave her sweet little kisses... then ... we were both sound asleep. Dad took a picture .. but Mom says that will not be on the web! lol</div><div align="justify">We went outside and try to do business. The rain was hindering my smelling. I was searching for the perfect spot when I saw them. They were <strong>BIG</strong> and <strong>SCARY</strong>! I barked barked barked, then ran over to Mom and looked up at her for a reassurance. They are ... cows! Well let me tell you... I had to give them my opinion ... after a very long discussion with them, I had to go back in. Mom was getting soaked. </div><div align="justify">Once we got back in it was time for supper. I got my regular food, and got to do a little ... clean up... of some chips that fell in the floor. Yum!</div><div align="justify">Well I have to go for now... sissy will be home from work soon and I must say <em>HI</em> to her or she will get upset. I sat and watched out the window for several miles, but finally realized that we were going a looong way, so I decided to lay down on my bed and rest. After we traveled for what seemed for hours we arrived at a store. It had lots of people and cars. Mom stayed in the car with me, and I watched Daddy go into the big store. Mom said he was going to get me some food and some goodies. She let me get in the drivers seat and I waited and waited for a long time. As we were sitting there this guy walked to close to the car so I had to inform him to back a way. he he Not really sure who jumped more ... mom or that guy! Finally we made our way to my new home. It was dark when I got there and there was way to much grass to smell every blade that I was trying to do. The neighbor friends where there... I am not really impressed with them. They are young and WAY to interested in my bathroom<span style="color:#ffff00;"> </span>business. I had to finally turn and put them in their place. Like I said they are young so they didn't take my threat to heart for they still continued. </div><div align="justify">Finally once inside I had LOTS of rooms to check out. I walked up to this thing Mom informed me was a cat. Not overly impressed for their were way to much stuff to sniff and investigate. I was busy most of the night, smelling this and sniffing that. That is when I got a piggy ear! I just dropped in the floor and looked at it like ... ok... then sissy put it in my food bowl. I immediately had to remove it and start eating it. </div><div align="justify">Later while I was getting some loving, I spied the creature from earlier. The chase was on! I had to figure out what that was. I got in trouble. Not bad, just told NO! But I really really want to know what that is! Later I found her on the bed. She makes horrid noises and I tucked my tail and went to Daddy for reassurance. We got alot of work in this area I over heard Mom say. All in all they are extremely happy with me. I have already learned that they want me to sit before I go outside and again once I come in to have my paws wiped. I don't mind for I can give kisses during this time. </div><div align="justify">Well it is bed time and I am tired. I have had several that I was interested in, but just didn't match up to our family needs or likes. Then along came Lucy. </div><div align="justify"><br /></div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><em>Here is Lucy's bio...</em><br />Lucy is a sweet border collie mix looking for a new home with lots of room to be active and lots of loving attention. Lucy has been in our home for the last 3.5 years. She is an approximately 4 year-old border collie mix with a wonderfully sweet temperament who gets along with everyone she comes in contact with. She’s great with children, loves to be with other dogs, and she’s always excited to play!<br />We are regretfully looking for the perfect new home for Lucy. We recently learned that our two-year-old son is very allergic to dogs and so we must find a new home for Lucy. We are hoping to find a home that can accommodate her ample energy with regular walks—ideally a home with land, or a large yard, and children/adults that will dote on her. She also loves being around other dogs and does best with the companionship of another dog or attentive human. Lucy is an indoor/outdoor dog.<br />She's current on all her shots just this past spring. She's spayed, was just heart worm tested in the spring and is on Interceptor and Frontline. She's indoor/outdoor. She is house trained, can go thru the night w/o needing to go out. She's around 40 lbs. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify">We get to pick her up this Wednesday night. We are sooo excited! We had just upgraded to the timed crockpot and now were excited about coming home to some really good meals. We both work full time, he works at the local hospital in the computer department and I work for a OB/GYN office as a scheduler. We get to carpool to work together for we just work across the street from one another. We live about 45 minutes from work so by the time we get home it is around 6:30 pm or a little later and the last thing we both want to do is cook a big meal.<br />Well since we are both overweight and trying to do this "diet" thing ... we decided to just start eating a little more healthier than what we had been. We are off the fast food lane. It is working out nice ... I get left overs for lunches! which is saving us money as well.<br />Anyway back to my site I found.
